Pre-examination Preparation

To prepare for the Digitability exam and certification, students should be aware of the following key points:

  1. Eligibility and Prerequisites: Ensure you have a basic understanding of digital concepts, familiarity with technology tools, and have allocated sufficient time to complete the course requirements. A Windows-based PC with Windows 10 or later is necessary for a smooth learning experience.

  2. Course Access and Progress: Log in to the Digitability platform at www.digitability.eu using your unique credentials to access the course dashboard, training material, and track your progress. You must complete all required modules before attempting the final exam.

  3. Exam Preparation: Find a quiet, distraction-free environment for taking the exam. There is no time limit for completing the exam, but you should be prepared to answer various types of questions, including multiple-choice, true/false, matching, and fill-in-the-blank.

  4. Exam Content: The exam will assess your knowledge across different training modules, including basic knowledge of devices, accessing information online, online learning, organizing information, creating content, and communicating online. The exam is tailored to accommodate different disabilities, with assistive technologies available for those who need them.

  5. Security and Integrity: The exam platform is secure, with encryption and access controls to protect exam content. Questions are randomized and rotated to ensure fairness.

  6. Scoring and Passing Criteria: The final score is calculated automatically, with each correct answer earning points. The passing score is 60%. Note that appeals on automatically calculated test scores are not accepted.

  7. Certification: Upon passing the exam, a digital certificate will be automatically generated, including your name, course/project name, and exam date. This certificate is recognized by employers and peers as evidence of your expertise.
